Regional Differences and Convergence of Technical Efficiency in China’s Marine Economy under Carbon Emission Constraints

With the continuous development of China’s marine economy and increasing pollution in marine-related industries, how to implement a sustainable strategy has become an important issue. Under stochastic frontier analysis framework, this paper measures technical efficiency 11 coastal provinces China under carbon emission constraints from 2006 2016 analyzes regional differences dynamic evolution its influencing factors. Panel unit root test is applied analyze convergence inter-regional economy. The result shows that: reference period, on rise. Guangdong Shanghai are lead. Technical level industrial structure have positive impact efficiency, while property rights, FDI, energy prices, negative effect it. On whole, changes present process concentration differentiation.
